Ongoing Missional Activities at CCC
Food Pantry
At CCC, each time we gather for worship or small group meetings, folks are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be used to help struggling persons in the larger community of which we are a part. Thus far, we have helped support the food pantry ministries of New Beginnings ,a congregation in Charlottesville, the Monticello Area Community Action Agency, Louisa Community Cupboard, and various similar needs in our immediate locality.
Arc of the Piedmont
CCC is supportive in various ways to the residents and mission of the Arc of the Piedmont. We have provided Christmas gifts, organized support from other communities of faith, and provided resources for emergency needs. To learn more about how you can make a difference in the lives of these developmentally handicapped adults, contact Bruce Hunter or visit the Arc's website.
New Beginnings Christian Community
Since December 2007, we have provided various resources for the ministry of New Beginnings, an American Baptist congregation in Charlottesville which ministers primarily to ex-offenders, persons addicted to drugs and alchohol, and their families.
SIGA Ministry Partners
The ministry of Ruth and Carlos in Costa Rica continues to need our prayers and support. Remember them as they work through SIGA Minsitry Partners.

Good Faith Food Box
The Good Faith Food Box Food Ministry was started at CCC in January of 2012. It replaces the Angelfood Ministry which was begun in March of 2009. GFFB is staffed by caring volunteers from CCC who desire to help persons in the community reduce their household expense for basic food items. There are no qualification requirements; anyone can purchase food through this ministry. GFFB is a month-to-month program which will enable you to save 40%-50% on items purchased; no long-term commitment is required.
