Operation Inasmuch
CCC is constantly seeking new ways to communicate to the people around us the love which both we and God have for them. Operation Inasmuch is a wonderfully positive, diverse, ecumenical way to do that.
Through our participation in Operation Inasmuch we seek to give feet and hands to our words. Our desire is to instill hope and concretely communicate a sense of being valued to the people in the community of which we are a part.
Typical projects encompass basic home repair, painting and yard work for the poor and elderly. We also partner with community agencies and nonprofits in their efforts to improve the quality of life for the persons whom they serve.
You can become involved in numerous ways. Persons with basic skills in building trades are always needed. People who enjoy working outdoors can help with yard projects and clean up work. Others more comfortable preparing sandwiches and simple snacks for volunteers. Whatever your skills or gifts, you can make a difference!
