Bruce Hunter leads the community of CCC. Bruce has lived in the Charlottesville area for the last 14 years and is familiar with the unique culture of Central Virginia. In 2005, he began to sense a call from God to establish a nontraditional congregation focused on meeting the spiritual needs of persons moving into the larger community surrounding Zion Crossroads. Beginning Crossroads Community Church in January of 2008 is the result of that call.
Bruce, his wife, Susan, and daughter, Mary Elizabeth, live in the Boyd Tavern community, just a few miles west of Zion Crossroads. Bruce enjoys fishing, woodworking, music, and one-on-one interaction with people.
Bruce is a graduate of Averett University in Danville, VA and received his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He has served as a pastor for more than 20 years and is currently enjoying the role of church planter.
