We're growing!  We're excited! The time is now f or the 2nd phase of God's gracious work among us!

After almost a year of prayerfully seeking to discern God's will, Crossroads has launched a 6pm Saturday evening worship service at the CCC Worship and Mission Center.

We warmly invite you to join us as we celebrate the grace and love of God in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that is real, upfront, and accepting of all persons.  Whether you're a Christ-follower stretched for time on Sundays, a spiritual seeker unsure of how or even whether God has revealed God's self to humankind, or someone who desires to grow in their relationship with God and others, you'll fit in.  

Our present congregation is a diverse cross-section of the community with folks from of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, and denonminational experiences.  We find our commonality, our unity, and our sense of community through a desire to serve God by serving the community where God has called us to participate in his mission in the world.

The nursery is staffed by loving adults who value and appreciate children.  Classes are offered simultaneously during worship for preschoolers and elementary aged children.  Their teachers are compassionate, trained, and prepared to share the good news of Jesus with your children.  Of course, we are quite comfortable with you and your children worshiping together if that is your preference.  At Crossroads children are loved, valued, and appreciated.

Several factors influenced our decision to begin this new work:

• Since our birth in September 2008, we have outgrown our facility.   Our space on Sunday mornings was maxed out.  Starting a second service on Saturday evenings has enabled us to continue to reach out to the community with the good news while simultaneously allowing us to be effective stewards of the resources with which God has blessed us.
• Many of the businesses here in Central Virginia are in operation seven days a week.   Saturday evening worship provides the option for folks who have to work on Sunday mornings to be an active, integral part of a community of faith.   
• Crossroads 2.0 enables us to more effectively carry out our mission of helping people on their journey back to God .  A Saturday night worship option provides another "door" into the kingdom of God.
• In the hectic lifestyles which characterize the 21st century, harried families and individuals can share in the fellowship of the body of Christ each week and still have a "day off" to be family, go out of town to visit loved ones, and share in in re-creational activities.
